A representative of Uzbektelecom said that in December the speed of the Internet is expected to increase by 10 times.
Last year in December, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed the Parliament to improve the internet connection services and increase its speed by the end of 2018.
UzA.uz appealed to the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications with a question about increasing the speed of the Internet, to which the Ministry representative replied - “it is Uzbektelecom’s responsibility to deal with the issue now”.
Meanwhile, a senior official at Uzbektelecom Yunus Kamolov said that from December 1, 2018, the Internet speed in Uzbekistan will increase 10 times in compliance with the instructions of the President.
It should be noted that technical work is currently being completed. The agreements concluded with foreign partners will soon be implemented.
