GM Uzbekistan, Uzavtosanoat intend to hold accountable the dealer in Russia for debts

The LLC “Financial Consultant No.1”, the bankruptcy creditor of the bankrupt CJSC FDI UzDaewooAuto-Voronezh (distributor of the concern Uz-Daewoo), filed an application to the Arbitration Court of the Voronezh region about bringing the debtor to subsidiary responsibility. Kommersant reports about it.
According to the bankruptcy manager of the CJSC Oleg Parfenov, the talk is about the ex-top managers of the company, Yuri Kan, Khasanbek Muzaffarov, Igor Davydov.
In addition, the head structures in Uzbekistan – the JSC General Motors Uzbekistan, Uzavtosanoat, LLC AVTOSANOAT INVEST LLC, want the dealer to be held accountable for the debts. The liability amount is not specified.
UzDaewooAuto-Voronezh was the only official Russian distributor of the Uz-Daewoo brand of the GM Uzbekistan auto concern. Competitive observation was introduced in April 2017. Now the register of creditors' claims includes about 18 billion rubles of debt.
Earlier, it was reported that the Russian bank filed a bankruptcy lawsuit against the former head of GM Uzbekistan Tokhirjon Jalilov, who now heads the company Uzbekozikovkatkholding.
