Remittances from Russia to Uzbekistan grew by 14% in January-September 2019

Remittances sent by residents and non-residents of the Russian Federation to Uzbekistan in the first three quarters of 2019 (January-September) increased by 14 percent compared to the same period last year.
According to official data released by the RF Central Bank, in the first three quarters of 2019 $3,496,000 was sent from Russia to Uzbekistan.
At the same time, remittances sent by residents of Russia amounted to $1 billion 235 million, while remittances of non-residents totaled $2 billion 261 million.
The average remittance amount was $372. Average remittances for residents were $297 and non-residents – $433. During the same period, $244 million was sent from Uzbekistan to Russia. The average remittance amount – $805.
