Rustam Inoyatov resigns as head of Uzbekistan Tennis Federation
On March 6, an extraordinary session of the Uzbekistan Tennis Federation was held at the National Olympic Committee (NOC).
As the NOC press service reported, during the conference, the Secretary General of the Tennis Federation of Uzbekistan, the vice president of the Asian Tennis Federation Iroda Tulyaganova read out a report on progress, achievements and shortcomings in the activities of the Federation.
After that, the candidacy of the NBU chairman Alisher Mirsoatov was nominated for the post of new head of the federation. The conference participants unanimously approved his candidacy, and Alisher Mirsoatov was declared as the head of the Uzbekistan Tennis Federation.
Then the NOC President Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov and the chairman of the council of sports veterans of Uzbekistan Komiljon Khudoyberganov delivered speeches and wished good luck to the new leader.
“I believe that with the rich experience of a new leader, significant success can be achieved. In turn, I want to thank Rustam Inoyatov for his many years of service. Under his leadership, the activities of the Federation became professional. With your permission, I want to propose that Rustam Inoyatov be elected honorary President of the Federation,” Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov said.
In turn, the conference participants approved this proposal, and Rustam Inoyatov became the honorary president of the Uzbekistan Tennis Federation.
