Uzbekistan increases car production

In the same period of 2019, 98,780 cars were produced, in 2020 - 117,925 units.

According to the State Statistics Committee, the production of passenger cars increased January-May 2020. In the same period of 2019, 98,780 cars were produced, in 2020 – 117,925 units.

In January-May 2020, the automotive industry produced 29,408 Nexia T-250, 30,125 Cobalt, 21,310 Lacetti-Gentra, 22,150 Damas, 12,162 Spark and 2,770 Labo cars.

Truck production declined. In 2019 – 2,044 units, in 2020 – 1,443.

Production of car engines increased. In 2019, 78.3 thousand engines were produced, in 2020 – 94.2 thousand.

In January-May 2020, the volume of tractor production amounted to 623 units (in 2019 - 338).
