Road Patrol competition of International Army Games kicks off in Kokand (photos)
Uzbekistan is hosting the VI International Army Games. The opening ceremony of the Road Patrol competition within the framework of the International Army Games was held in Kokand, Fergana region.

Teams from the Ministries of Defense of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus are taking part in the competition, which is being hosted by Uzbekistan for the first time, Kun.uz correspondent reports.
Colonel Zafar Bozorboyev has been appointed the chief judge of this competition. The jury also includes highly experienced and qualified officers from the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan and the participating countries.
The competition jury and participating teams entered the field. After that, the state flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the flag of the International Army Games were brought.
The opening ceremony of the Road Patrol competition was attended by the Minister of Defense Major General Bakhodir Kurbanov, khokim of the Fergana region Shukhrat Ganiyev, who warmly congratulated the participants.
The event was also attended by military family members, members of the Public Council under the Ministry of Defense, veterans and youth.
