Uzbekistan to raise minimum age for gun ownership
Uzbekistan is planning to raise the minimum age for possession of hunting weapons and ammunition, the deputy of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis Rasul Kusherbayev said.

According to him, the minimum age for owning a weapon will be raised from 21 to 25 years.
Earlier it was reported that in Uzbekistan, weapons control could be transferred from the National Guard to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Currently, acquired civilian and service weapons are subject to registration with the National Guard within ten days from the date of their acquisition, with the exception of weapons and ammunition acquired without the permission of the National Guard.
