US dollar exchange rate down, ruble up against UZS
The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has set new foreign exchange rates, which will be effective from May 31 this year.
According to the regulator, the US dollar drops by 23.27 soums and amounts to 11,010.88 soums.
The euro, in the meantime, increases by 30.11 soums to 11,854.31 soums.
The Russian ruble also rises in price by 10.39 soums, reaching the mark of 175.26 soums.
Rates are set without the obligation of the Central Bank to buy or sell currency at a given rate.
