Changes coming into force from October 1 announced
Kun.uz traditionally reminds citizens of some changes in the legislation of Uzbekistan that will come into force on October 1, 2022.
• Old-style driver’s licenses issued in 2013-2015 will be considered invalid;
• The amount of subsidy for the purchase of necessary equipment for farmers will be increased;
• It will be possible to purchase solar and wind power plants and solar water heating devices with interest-free installments over 3 years;
• 70 percent of the costs of exporting products produced in Karakalpakstan to foreign countries will be covered;
• “Unified register of dishonest taxpayers” will be maintained;
• An electronic data bank on the prohibition (mortgage) of transferring property to another person will be introduced;
• Grants up to 1 billion soums will be allocated to support start-up projects on the provision of IT education services;
• The competition for the best projects for the production and broadcasting of TV and radio products for children will be announced;
• Earthquake proofing of multi-apartment buildings will be launched;
• On the basis of “Nurli maskan” schools, one-year training groups will be organized to prepare blind children for school.
