Uzbekistan, Belarus discuss issues of cooperation in education field
In Minsk, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan Rakhmatulla Nazarov met with the Minister of Education of Belarus Andrei Ivanets.

During the meeting, the Belarusian side highly appreciated the results of the official visit of President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to Uzbekistan, which took place on February 7-9 of this year, and emphasized the agreements reached following its results in the areas of preschool and school education.
The need to intensify work to fulfill the assigned tasks in this area was noted and readiness was expressed to discuss the progress in implementing the points of the “Roadmap” and the Cooperation Program in the educational sector.
It was noted that the priority areas of cooperation are the opening of branches of Belarusian universities in Uzbekistan, the implementation of “pilot projects” in the field of vocational education in the regions of our country, the organization of internships and exchanges of workers, managers and methodologists in the field of preschool education.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on a detailed study of the issues discussed between the competent authorities of the two countries.
