Uzbekistan strengthens transport and logistics cooperation with Oman
Ambassador of Uzbekistan Abdusalom Khatamov held a meeting with Khamis bin Mohammed Al-Shamakhi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology of Oman, to discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation in the fields of transport and logistics.

During the meeting, the parties explored the possibility of establishing direct air links between the two countries and discussed the development of relationships with Omani logistics companies and ports.
The Omani delegation expressed satisfaction with the outcomes of their visit to Uzbekistan in July this year and conveyed their eagerness to expand cooperation across all sectors.
Moreover, the representative of Oman reaffirmed support for initiatives aimed at boosting trade and economic relations between Central Asian countries and Gulf Arab states, highlighting a commitment to strengthening mutual ties.
