According to the announcement, if a citizen’s work experience falls short of the required period, a pension can still be granted in proportion to the actual number of years worked.
Currently, the required work experience is 25 years for men and 20 years for women.
However, if a person has more than 7 years of work experience but does not meet the full threshold, they are still eligible to receive a pension proportional to the years they have worked.
