Fayzullaev may join İstanbul Başakşehir in €7 million move

He could play alongside Shomurodov at İstanbul Başakşehir.

İstanbul Başakşehir has reportedly reached an agreement with CSKA Moscow over the transfer of Uzbek midfielder Abbosbek Fayzullaev, according to Turkish journalist Osman Altunterim.

Citing sources, Altunterim claims that CSKA will receive €7 million for the 21-year-old player from Uzbekistan.

Fayzullaev has been playing for CSKA since 2023. During the 2024/25 season, he made 39 appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals and providing eight assists. He helped CSKA win both the Russian Cup and the Russian Super Cup last season.

The midfielder joined the Moscow club two years ago from Pakhtakor Tashkent in a €500,000 transfer deal. His current contract with CSKA runs until 2026. Since joining the team, Fayzullaev has played 72 matches, scoring eight goals and delivering 22 assists.

Earlier, another Uzbekistan international, striker Eldor Shomurodov, also joined İstanbul Başakşehir. The Turkish club signed him on loan from Roma with an option to buy at the end of the season.
