Russian company Tatlift to launch elevator production in Uzbekistan
Tatlift, a Russian elevator manufacturing company, is planning to launch a production facility in Uzbekistan’s Bukhara region, according to the regional administration.

On July 22, Bukhara regional governor Botir Zaripov met with a delegation led by Tatlift director Gulshat Zagidullina to discuss the progress of the project, which is being implemented within the Bukhara Special Industrial Park.
The project's preliminary investment is estimated at $5.5 million. Once operational, the plant is expected to employ around 150 people and produce up to 2,000 elevators annually.
Following the meeting, the Bukhara regional administration and Tatlift signed a memorandum of understanding. In addition, separate agreements were signed with partner companies involved in the project.
Zaripov and Zagidullina initially discussed the initiative during the Russia – Islamic World forum held in Kazan this May. In early June, a delegation from Tatlift visited Bukhara to present the project and inspect the proposed construction site.
