Chinese company to help construct pumped-storage hydroelectric power station in Bostanlyk
Uzbekhydroenergo JSC signed an agreement with a Chinese company on the construction of a pumped-storage hydroelectric power station. The project cost is estimated at $1 billion.

The facility with a capacity of 600 MW will be built in the Bostanlyk district of Tashkent region.
On the sidelines of the Belt and Road forum, Uzbekhydroenergo JSC and the Chinese company China Southern Power Grid signed an agreement on the joint implementation of the project.
It should be reminded that in July this year, 3 projects worth $1.6 billion were signed with this company: "Yukori Pskem" pumped-storage hydroelectric power station (200 MW), "Karateren" PSHPS (500 MW) and "Yukori Pskem" hydroelectric power station (120 MW).
