According to a statement from the press service of Uzbekistan Airports, passengers can now check in for domestic flights using electronic versions of their identity documents.
Before registration at the airport, passengers must log into their personal account on the my.gov.uz website or mobile app, or the Social Card app, navigate to the personal data page, and present the electronic version of their ID to the agent at the check-in counter.
The company emphasized that photocopies, photos, scanned images of passports or ID cards, or screenshots of the personal data page will not be accepted during registration.
“Only up-to-date information from the my.gov.uz or Social Card applications will be accepted as proof of identity,” Uzbekistan Airports stressed.
It is also worth noting that starting today, digital versions of documents will be accepted at banks, notary offices, airports, train stations, and for public services.
