About 200 people deceived purchasing air tickets for non-existing flights to Moscow and St. Petersburg

The deceived passengers could not depart and gathered in the airport building. Uzbekistan Airports commented on the situation and said that the ticketing office would return the money to citizens.

It turned out that the ticketing office sold tickets for non-existing flights to Moscow and St. Petersburg.

On November 8, about 200 people gathered for flights on the routes Navoi – Moscow and Navoi – St. Petersburg. However, these flights were not scheduled.

Allegedly, passengers bought tickets from the branches of “Bukhara Sharqi” company located in Samarkand, Bukhara and Urgench.

It is noted that the airport staff contacted the company that sold tickets and demanded to provide the necessary information to the passengers and to settle the issue.

“Company representatives have announced that all passengers will be refunded,” the company said in a statement.
